Hellgate on the Rogue

Reunion .....
On July 7 a few of us took a jetboat trip down the Rogue. What fun...and wet...and wild. Dueling jetboats! A peaceful stop is followed by stealth boat suddenly swishing past sending up a sudden spray! Halfway through we stopped at the food ranch for an awesome meal of ribs and chicken with all the 'fixing.

Reunion Shots...July 3-7, 2008

Fun, food, and fellowship in S. Oregon when 37 of us rendez-vous-ed to catch up on things as an extended family. Thanks to Fred and Priscilla, Rick and Alli and John and Shari who opened their homes to all of us....great!

Zipline!

Donnie arranged for me and Donna to go on the high wire zipline - a tourist "thing" here in Ketchikan during the summer.

Friends Back East

I took a "shortcut" from California to Alaska by way of Pennsylvania. Stopped to see long-time friend and missionary Will Krauss in Ambler. Then to see Larry and Vicky Sharp, also missionaries, in Bala Cynwyd. Then we branched out to see some of the sights.

Graduations Galore!

Both Laura and Jamin graduated in May. Laura from the University of Portland went for nursing and spanish while Jamin graduated from Pepperdine Law School as graduation speaker.

Jim and Roxy -- Brussels Team!

When exploring downtown Brussels a certain pet didn't want to be left behind.

Towers and glass of Paris!

Normandy Invasion Beaches

A hightlight of our trip was visiting the French invasion area. We stayed in an old house used by Hitler's troops -- and branched out to see the landscape of some of the bitterest fighting of World War II.

Brussels Church - Easter Sunday '08

Even in French the service was exuberant while the resurrection was preached! The people mingled long afterward and were very friendly

Awesome Europe

In March Donna and I flew to Brussells, Belgium to meet up with missionaries Jim and Millie Moore. We spent 12 days visiting their church and then branching out to see many of the sights.
