Best Calvary Bible Church Picnic Ever (opinion)

Sunday, August 15th dawned bright and beautiful in Ketchikan. Work started early at Ward Lake, setting up awnings for our service, setting up the volleyball nets, tablecloths on tables, getting grills ready and setting up chairs. At 11:00 a.m. our service started with singing, fellowship and a short message by Pastor Bob. Then the food, fun, and activities started - kids in boats, kayaks, and our canoe. Games, lots of talking, laughing and group fellowship. A really great time!

Great Time in Cincinnati!

On August 16th I flew south to visit old haunts in the Cincinnati, Ohio, region. I stayed with a friend from "way back, years ago" - Roy Turner and his wife Pat. Beth and Dave Bennett flew north from Atlanta to join us for a wonderful time of fellowship and a bit of sight-seeing. The pictures are of the house where I lived for about 20 years, the old downtown church, Dave Bennett playing the piano outside the Union Terminal Museum, lots of us waiting in the Creation Museum, friends at the Metamora Grist Mill, and with friends at pizza eatery in Cincinnati
